You can use the Aftercup Calendar completely without creating an account. In this default mode, the app does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to our servers. All your events, tasks, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device and are only accessible on the specific device where they have been added.
Optional Cloud Sync: If you explicitly choose to create an account and use the "Cloud Sync" feature, your encrypted data will be securely stored to facilitate synchronization between your own devices. You may delete your account and cloud data at any time.
Main App Integration: The Aftercup Account you create within this Calendar can also be used to log in to the main Aftercup application. Please note that the main Aftercup app serves different purposes and offers different functionalities compared to this Calendar tool.
If you have chosen to use cloud features, we provide two methods for you to manage and delete your data:
1. Instant Deletion (Main App Profile): For the fastest removal, you can access the profile settings within the main Aftercup application. This option provides a button to instantly delete everything associated with your account, including calendar data.
2. Manual Request (Deletion URL): You may also submit a request via our specific data deletion portal. This option offers more granular control, allowing you to choose whether to delete your entire account or specifically remove only your calendar data. Please note that requests submitted via this URL are subject to manual review before processing.
The app can request your location details in order to display local weather info on the "Aftercup Brief". We don’t share your location to third parties for tracking or advertising purposes. Location data is processed instantly to retrieve weather forecasts and is not stored on our servers.
The app doesn’t share any personal information with any other entity or third parties.
